Our Mission

The mission of the Tioga County Branch YMCA is to provide opportunities that will join everyone - regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, ability, or religion - in means by which one learns to lead a healthier lifestyle, build strong family relationships, develop self-confidence, enrich the mind, learn responsibility for the common good, and respect one another.

We are a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, for healthy living, and for social responsibility. A strong community is only achieved when we invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors.

Inclement Weather

Please note that the Y will open as usual today, Saturday, January 21st.  Youth Basketball Program WILL be in session with an hour delay for those who can make it.  We can accomodate your children if they do arrive on time, but we will begin full program activities an hour late to allow time for all the roads to be plowed.  If you cannot make it to the Y today, we understand.
